It would be nice to be able to run dictd against user-installed
dictionaries. The obvious way would be to run dictd privately per-user.

For a typical modern single-user machine, it would probably be acceptable to
do this in such a way that any user on the system could query the server;
the improvement is simply making it possible for the user to install and
configure extra dictionaries without needing to use root to install them,
and to allow the relevant configuration and data files to be managed and
backed up as part of one’s home directory.
