#1001771 Icedove: The add-on Grammar and Spell Checker - LanguageTool doesn't work

1: Install the add-on LanguageTool: Tools -> Add-ons -> "Install add-on from file..." (select grammar_and_spell_checker_languagetool-4.4.0-tb.xpi which is the latest version from https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/grammar-and-spell-checker/ at this writing)

2: Click on Write to send a new email.

3: Make sure that the add-on works by clicking on the LanguageTool button located to the right in the Composition bar.

4: Write the test message: "How is you?"

In Thunderbird 78.14.0 the word "is" is propery highlighted and when I click on it I get the suggetion "are". However, no text is highlighted in Icedove.


LanguageTool doesn't work in Icedove.
