the version in Bullseye seems to old, it never succeeds
downloading the Tor Browser. I see there are newer packages
in testing/unstable, could those be backported?

Thanks for your report!

I tried 0.3.3-6 locally, and can download latest 11.0.3 TBB without issue.
Of course I can upload a backports version, but I guess it will be the
same on your side.

Maybe you can clean up ~/.local/share/torbrowser/ folder and try again.

I just tried this today, and it fails to download.  It tries to get version 12.0.4.
