gmdb2 was removed years ago due to not being ported to GTK-3, Bug#885744: mdbtools-gmdb: Depends on libgnomeui.

There is currently a stable version based on GTK-3: https://github.com/mdbtools/gmdb2/tags

Because it is still a useful package and having its GUI as a package in the repository makes it easier to use, please consider repackaging gmdb2.
