Hi,
I did this change to a debian/copyright file (at least I think that
changes caused what I describe below):
On Debian systems, the complete text of the GNU General Public
- License can be found in /usr/share/common-licenses/GPL file, always
+ License can be found in "/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL", always
pointing to the latest version of the GPL.
Before this change, lintian argued:
copyright-refers-to-versionless-license-file usr/share/common-licenses/GPL
Afterwards it argued:
copyright-refers-to-symlink-license usr/share/common-licenses/GPL
I don't see why this should make a difference nor why there are two
different lintian tags for seemingly the same issue.
(And yes, I noticed it via Lintian Overrides. :-)
