Dear Maintainer, I get that taking a look into the /etc/init.d/glances and creating /etc/default/glances if one doesn't need the daemon feature isn't particularly hard, but it would be probably more beneficial to ask a user about it at the installation time through debconf.

What would you like to ask in the debconf template? Regards
Hi Daniel, What I suspect Alex is asking for is for debconf to ask whether the admin wants a daemon to be set up. glances works without a server as well for those times when you just want a simple `top` replacement. Running a server daemon seems to be superfluous then.
