I'm orphaning all of my packages in Debian because I have decided to retire. Davfs2 is a relative popular package that has a very responsive upstream team. The description reads: Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV), an extension to the HTTP-protocol, allows authoring of resources on a remote web server. davfs2 provides the ability to access such resources like a typical filesystem, allowing for use by standard applications with no built-in support for WebDAV. . davfs2 is designed to fully integrate into the filesystem semantics of Unix-like systems (mount, umount, et c.). davfs2 makes mounting by unprivileged users as easy and secure as possible. . davfs2 does extensive caching to make the file system responsive, to avoid unnecessary network traffic and to prevent data loss, and to cope for slow or unreliable connections. . davfs2 will work with most WebDAV servers needing little or no configuration.
X-Debbugs-Cc: woodrow.shen@gmail.com Hi Hsieh-Tseng, Would you be able to step in as maintainer for davfs2? You are still listed as Uploader. Thanks, Bastian
Hi Bastian, Yeap, I can take over the position atm and please let me know if someone will like to be the one :) I'm closing this first via ITA and updating the version later on. Thanks, Woodrow Bastian Germann <bage@debian.org> 於 2022年6月22日 週三 凌晨12:42寫道:

retitle 1008001 ITA: davfs2 -- mount a WebDAV resource as a regular file system thanks Hello, I would be ready to adopt the package, I've been using it for quite some time. I am only Maintainer, so I would need to be given upload rights. I do not have access to the salsa yet. There does not seem to be much to be done, there have not been upstream commits for two years. There are a few bugs to close. I can still make an upload to just adopt the package. Best, Aymeric
We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
davfs2, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.
A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
attached.
Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 1008001@bugs.debian.org,
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
