When installing the package from debian repo the apt installer comes up with an error message, the package doesn't install correctly: “...” “update-menus[17721]: Skript /etc/menu-methods/icewm-common gab den Fehlerstatus 1 zurück.” “...” Nevertheless the program itself works fine after installer completed its work with errors, when called from command line. But this is a GUI application and standard users expect to start this from menu entries on their desktop, which are missing completely here. Checking for the reason I noticed there is no .desktop file present in your packages. After researching the issue on packages.debian.org I found out this was obviously fixed in bookworm (testing), but not for buster (oldstable) and also not for nbullseye (stable). I suggest to add the missing .desktop files to the respective packages. System: This apples to debian bullseye (stable) and debian buster (oldstable), observed as well on i386 as on amd_x64
