I'm running Gnome with Wayland.
I get a screenful of these warnings when I have QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb.
When I have QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland, I get the warnings but the window never appears.

I also have these env vars set:
    QT_ACCESSIBILITY=1
    QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=qt5ct
