Dear Maintainer,

Installing munin-node does not provide any man pages for applications or
configuration files. Since '--help' does not document all available
options for munin-node-configure i.e., there is no getting around installing
munin-doc package for information. But that provides documentation for
the entire Munin suite (master and node).

Package munin-node should provide required documentation and man pages,
preferably as part of the package. Albeit, splitting the documentation
in munin-doc and munin-node-doc would also be acceptable.

thanks for filing this bug, however I'm inclined to close it because...

there's a munin-doc package which you can install for documentation.
normally munin-node is installed on many nodes, sometimes hundreds, and
usually one doesnt want munin-node documentation on a node.

so I'm pondering to close this bug as wontfix.

That's another way of looking at it. Although, that holds for many other
packages as well and they (e.g. openssh-client) come with man pages
nonetheless.

Maybe munin-node could be made to at least suggest munin-doc?

That's you decision in the end.
