The search bar in the Application Launcher (i.e. Kickoff) doesn't work.
This is probably related to this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=443131

In my case, at one point in time I had an external monitor connected to
my laptop which is no longer connected.  I have also switched from the
default Application Launcher to Kickoff/Grid
(https://store.kde.org/p/1317546).  However, even after switching back
to the original Application Launcher, the search bar no longer works.
