First, there are some com.sun.javadoc deprecation warnings

Should be replaced by jdk.javadoc.doclet [1] with certainly some
adaptation. Maybe a new tool release do that.

However those appear as warnings only , should not impact. But
following errors relate to classes using those com.sun packages as
undefined.... Strange

I offer to have a look, I think I am responsible for this. In order to
fix bug #1011468 in barclay [2], I removed some classes in barclay.
Before doing so, I identified some classes that should also be removed
in picard-tools afterwards. But because of bug #1012214 in gradle [3], I
figured out I coult not upload picard-tools with these classes removals
for now, as the package would not build anyway. I have to check again.

I will just look at it again and provide more information in the current
bug thread.

Hi,

As I said tomorrow, picard-tools FTBFS because of some classes removals
in barclay. I will shortly upload a version of picard-tools closing the
current bug by omitting to build the two problematic classes. No reverse
dependency relies on them.

Surprisingly, the build goes fine in a sid chroot, but it fails if I add
OpenJDK 17 in the chroot, see [0]. I have not found the reason yet.
