netkit-telnet-ssl is unmaintained/non-existing upstream and the package seems to be unmaintained as well (see related
#986997). I orphan it. A good candidate for adoption is Alberto Gonzalez Iniesta who is listed as an uploader and copied.

I'm not a debian developer, but a long time user of netkit-telnet-ssl,
and I'd like to
see this package adopted.

I'm not changing this into an ITA since the original orphaning message a good
candidate for adoption was already mentioned, and in any case I would need a
sponsor. Still, I wish to register here my interest, and please let me

One of the changes I did was to 'adopt' the package by claiming to be
the maintainer,

However, lintian does not seem to want the adoption message on the
changelog marking the orphan bug (this one) as closed:

Should I just remove the bug number in that changelog entry? Or should
I do something else/instead?
