Dear Maintainer, Since update to kmod version 30+20220630-1, I have this warning when launching (via apt upgrade or manually) : # update-initramfs -k 5.18.0-2-amd64 -u update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-5.18.0-2-amd64 depmod: WARNING: could not open modules.builtin.modinfo at /tmp/user/0/mkinitramfs_BKkoUw/lib/modules/5.18.0-2-amd64: No such file or directory It doesn't seem to have any effect on my laptop, I can reboot and it seems fully functional. Regards, Sébastien KALT
#1014319 actually. It's harmless.
Well, not quite. It breaks initramfs-tools' autopkgtest, so will prevent kmod from entering testing (and with it packages depending on the new kmod version, like udev-udeb) Regards, Michael
Closing, since a new initramfs-tools package has been uploaded.
