Debian is not LibreOffice upstream. Such bugs have to be fixed upstream,
not in Debian.

Report them there.


- Neither do I as the sole maintainer of libreoffice (remember, free
time and there's other stuff to do in life) have time to debug all this
what belongs upstream,

- Nor to report all this upstream without any sensible information.

This then will result in either lingering around until infunity or
requring me to play proxy (which I neither have time for)

Here in Debian this will just pile up without any action.

Hi,
And also LibreOffice is not a PDF viewer or PDF editor. That PDF import
"feature" was one of the worst features even implemented, and marketing
and too big user expectations (as we see here) do the  rest.


Use PDF viewers to view PDFs. (You  compare already with evince, etc.
Use them.)
