In version 5.20.5-1 in Debian11 with Wayland, the preview of tabs in the taskbar is not shown and apps can't be closed with by clicking Close in the right click context menu. This could also be caused by plasma-workspace-wayland.

The apps can only be closed with the X in the upper right (but that often also doesn't work) and by other means (such as opening the window and clicking X in the top right).

The context menu disappears when moving the mouse up after the right click but I can still select and click Close before it disappears. It also quickly disappears when not clicking. Sometimes the preview hides the rightclick context menu and sometimes it doesn't disappear.

This problem still exists in Debian12 with Wayland. It only works with the VLC player where I can use the preview to change tracks but it doesn't work for apps like Dolphin, konsole, firefox, Discover and so on.

I checked and there is this output when hovering over the panel item:

Do I need to install or configure anything for this to work?
