A group of developper forked barrier to a new Github repository:
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap

Note that the built binaries are still named barrier, barrierc, barriers
so the package should conflict if a new debian package name is created.
Maybe a new name for those binaries could be asked for, I have not
checkd the issue tracker for if it was already asked for.

Cheers,
Alban

The first release of input-leap is available at
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap/releases and includes renamed
executables and Wayland support among others.

Hi,
died as well:
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap/issues/1414
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap/discussions/1427
https://github.com/input-leap/input-leap/discussions/2199

OTOH there is the deskflow "fork" packaged for Debian, which is active:
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/deskflow
https://github.com/deskflow/deskflow

I recommend removing barrier from the archive and redirecting users to deskflow.

Cheers,
Balint
