Dear Maintainer,

after upgrading to the current version filelight works only rudimentary, that is, mouse clicks with the left mouse button to navigate are no longer accepted and the call of the context menu with the right mouse button is no longer there.

To be on the safe side, I deleted all filelight files from all directories and user directories and reinstalled filelight.

The version filelight_20.12.0-1_amd64.deb still works fine.

That'd really very peculiar.
Both versions are supposed to be exactly the same besides an error in the Debian changelog in my 20.12.0-1 upload.

Would you mind retesting back and forth between 20.12.0-1 and 20.12.0-2 and report back ?

Thank you,

First of all I would like to mention, I had mixed up the version number in the mail heading, the defective version has the number 4:22.12.0-2. But you surely noticed that.

I suspect the malfunction is related to the pop-up that slides under the mouse pointer and thus intercepts the mouse clicks that are supposed to invoke the context menu. This pop-up "sticks" when switching workspaces, so that parts of other programs are overlaid by it and are no longer accessible at those points. If filelight is closed, the pop-up is also removed.

If my translation into English raises any questions please let me know.
