Dear Maintainer,

While installing this package on bullseye (emacs 1:27.1+1-3.1),
I met the following error (though the functionaliy seems fine).

The packaging was entirely re-done using modern tooling, and this bug no
longer reproduces. Please reopen if it does reappear in some
configuration using the current version.
