libjs-bootswatch is lacking behind upstream by many releases. Please update to a later release. There is a merge request at https://salsa.debian.org/js-team/libjs-bootswatch/-/merge_requests/1 that holds a newer version. The MR was handed in as a NMU sponsorship request at https://mentors.debian.net/package/libjs-bootswatch/
Hi, This wont happen before Bookworm's freeze, as this would probably break OpenStack dashboard (aka: Horizon). Thomas
A quick reminder. We are now after bookworm's release.
Hi There, I am maintaining a package that needs the bootswatch-5 version. I've created a patch (against the oldish 5.2.3) that either replaces the google fonts with a local version, or removes the theme altogether. I believe this should work, please check here: https://salsa.debian.org/marcvs/libjs-bootswatch/-/tree/marcvs/towards-v5?ref_type=heads And here: https://mentors.debian.net/package/libjs-bootswatch/ Best,
I managed to update to the latest upstream (5.3.3). It's on mentors:https://mentors.debian.net/package/libjs-bootswatch/ And the salsa pipeline works, too: https://salsa.debian.org/marcvs/libjs-bootswatch
Please at least update to the latest 3.x release. I have prepared that. The debdiff is attached.
I have just uploaded the changes that I have proposed 1.5 years ago to DELAYED/10.
I have just noticed that the package was changed in between, so I will corrrect the NMU to the content that is attached.
Quoting Bastian Germann (2026-03-18 11:59:38) Thanks a lot, and sorry for the lack of response till now. You are welcome to reupload without delay. Would you perhaps be interested in co-maintaining this package? Kind regards, - Jonas
Quoting Jonas Smedegaard (2026-03-18 12:29:24) Whoops - I misremembered being directly involved with this package. I retract my permission to reupload without delay (since I have no "authority" in the team to do so), but still encourage you to get more directly involved in the team yourself. Cc'ing the maintainers to get their attention. Kind regards, - Jonas
