Editing .md text file, on setting multiple word with bold, one after one, got segfault 2023-03-19T16:25:47.967234+01:00 XXXXXXXXXX kernel: [27777.281896] ghostwriter[104610]: segfault at 6200000038 ip 00007f6c8ec9f270 sp 00007ffc7de7bd60 error 6 in libQt5Gui.so.5.15.8[7f6c8eae2000+4d0000] likely on, CPU 0 (core 0, socket 0), 2023-03-19T16:25:47.967260+01:00 XXXXXXXXXX kernel: [27777.281917] Code: ff ff 48 89 df be 30 00 00 00 5b e9 ea 32 e4 ff 66 2e 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 48 c7 07 00 00 00 00 48 8b 06 48 85 c0 74 21 53 <f0> 83 00 01, 48 8b 1f 48 8b 06 48 89 07 48 85 db 74 06 f0 83 2b 01
I tried to reproduce your problem (setting 20+ words to bold one after the other using the keyboard shortcut after marking a word with the mouse) on version 24.12.2 and failed. Does the problem still occur to you? Given the long time since you first filed the bug reports it is likely that it has been fixed upstream since then. If it still happens for you, can you be a bit more specific on how to trigger it (even the size of the file you are editing might matter)?
