   * What led up to the situation?
Opening okular is very slow for the first time opening a specific PDF. When it
was open, it repens fast.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
To find out what okular is doing, i started it under strace and saw that it
tries to scan dokuments that are on my turned off NAS (autofs folder in my home
folder).

   * What was the outcome of this action?
See the attached strace file. I saw, that it tries to open files that are
totally unrelated and in diferent folders that my requested file.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
okular should just open the requested file and not search through all my
documents.

I found out that these documents are stored in recentdocuments:/ url
in dolphin. I disabled the "Zuletzt geöffnete Dokumente" (last opened
files) in the settings but it still tries to open these files. I also
disabled in the plasma search category "Zuletzt geöffnete Dokumente"
but no change.

Found out that these file paths are stored in
~/.config/okularrc
