Dear Maintainer,

Installed task-lxqt-desktop using bookworm rc3 installer.
Sleeping the laptop by closing the lid appears to function.
Opening the lid to wake the laptop results in a garbled screen.
I can enter the password on what I think is the screen saver as it
causes a change in the garbled screen but the screen is still garbled
and consequently the system is usuable.

I tried other desktops including mate and xfce and sleep functionality
and waking work as expected  with the same hardware.
I note that the lxqt is using wayland while the other desktops I tried
are using x11 for their graphics.

Hi kalanga,

kalanga <kalanga@gmail.com> (2023-05-28):

Thanks for your report. Looping in the lxqt team.

Note that Bookworm RC 4 released a few hours ago has an important tweak
regarding which packages are pulled by task-lxqt-desktop. I have no idea
whether having only the packages installed by RC 4 would help for this
specific issue though.

Cheers,
