It would be useful to emit a final a final "cacheline boundary" message when a structure ends on a cacheline, and emit a final "cacheline boundary was NN bytes ago" message when the last member overruns into a new cache line.
Hi, We have an enhancement request from a Debian user [0]: Is anybody willing to implement it? Dom [0] https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1037132
I'll be back from vacations next week and will think about it. There's a "last cacheline has N bytes", that covers the second request, IIRC, no? - Arnaldo From the smartphone in an N train somewhere near Paris :-)
