* I like multi-user.target and I like LXQt.
In Debian 11 startx call LXQt, there is no problem.
In Debian 12 startx call MATE,
startxlxqt NOT work: "qt.qpa.xcb could not connect to display"

* lxdm in Debian 12 work normally, LXQt work normally EXCEPT sound :
LXQt can NOT "establish connection to PulseAudio".
In MATE there is sound, no problems whith PulseAudio.

I tried with a fresh installed bookworm, but cannot reproduce.

Could you please provide reproduce steps?

BTW, the error message:
    ERROR : "qt.qpa.xcb: cuold not connect to display"
means QT application cannot connect with X server.

Are you sure the X server has been installed properly?

Anyway, reproduce steps are needed.
