Dear Maintainer,


After upgrading lightdm to the latest version, X fails to start leading only
to console mode.

One solution is downgrade to 1.26.0-8 and hold the package.

It also start normally with startx.

Another solution is using nouveau drivers. Lightdm works fine.

This is related to #1038611 and also related to sddm, as described here #996503.
sddm starts X normally with nouveau but it refuses to start with nvidia driver.
