Dear Maintainer,

I assume that this python3-software-properties is at fault here, since both
software-properties-gtk and software-properties-qt have these issues in
Bookworm:
1. There is a regression for Debian 12 where it doesn't offer an "Updates" tab
like in the Debian 11 version. This makes it easy to overlook the important
`bookworm-security` updates repository.
2. Even if this line is manually added to a `sources.list` file it still
doesn't appear anywhere in the GUI:

non-free non-free-firmware
``````

In the past there were similar similar bug reports such as #992181 and #1023242
and #930480, but now it is worse because the `bookworm-security` repository
does not appear at all and it makes no difference using http:// vs. https:// .
