Dear Maintainer,

ISC has announced the end of life for ISC DHCP as of the end of 2022.
Kea is the recommended successor of the DHCP server. This bug report is
about replacing the DHCP client dhclient. netscript-2.4 depends on
"isc-dhcp-client | dhcpcd | dhcpcd5 | pump".

Discussed on the debian-devel mailing [1], ifupdown will change to
"dhcpcd-base | dhcp-client". Please put dhcpcd as first alternative
before isc-dhcp-client: "dhcpcd | dhcpcd5 | isc-dhcp-client | pump".

Hi,

a lot of time has passed since this bug was filed.

It is time that we see about removing isc-dhcp from the next
release. Please enact upon the agreed changes in your package.

In the meantime I'm raising the severity of this bug, in case
nothing happens to have netscript-2.4 autoremoved after a while.

Chris
