This package is among the few that still use source format 1.0. Please upgrade it to source format 3.0: https://wiki.debian.org/Projects/DebSrc3.0
I am uploading a NMU to DELAYED/10 to fix this. The debdiff is attached.
Hello Bastian, Thank you for the contribution and your work to improve Debian. I appreciate NMUs! However, I would prefer not to do this to Netmaze. I have people that send me patches on Github from time to time, and this makes it significantly more difficult for non-Debian contributors to participate. Personal opinion: Source format is duplicitive of features already in git for packages that are maintained in git, and makes collaboration with others more challenging, especially in a case like this. Is there a way to remove from delayed? - John
Hi John, Am 17.08.23 um 02:54 schrieb John Goerzen: Yes. I will do so. If you don't mind, I will add an explicit 1.0 format. Cheers, Bastian
Okay, here is the new debdiff.
Incidentally, I got this: DELAYED/2-day/netmaze_0.81+jpg0.82-16.2_source.changes is already present on target host: 10-day/netmaze_0.81+jpg0.82-16.2_source.buildinfo Either you already uploaded it, or someone else came first. Job netmaze_0.81+jpg0.82-16.2_source.changes removed. Maybe the upload for the explicit 1.0 format tried to go in to 2-day but got rejected? Not quite sure. - John
