This is a modern NintendoDS (not 3DS) emulator.

I'm going to be packaging this as my first package partially because
it's a program I use and care about and partially in order to learn how
the system works and to make my first contribution to debian. As such I
would need a sponsor. I'll be seeking help from the games team and
likely with maintain it as a games team package (if that's how this works).

Can melonDS be usefully used without a BIOS/firmware dump from a DS?

Hi Mae, are you still working on this?

I'd be glad to help, as I've some experience packaging the yuzu
emulator.

The package is almost ready. There are just two non-free images which
need to be replaced - see upstream issue

Dear Andrea,

Did you ever find replacement images? Is CC BY-SA 4.0 a suitable
replacement? If it's helpful, Wikimedia Commons has an image under
such a licence [1]. It is also available in much larger form at the
link but as .pngs.
