It is kind of a chicken and egg problem to include bookworm support in
bookworm first release. But I think we can include a patch in a stable
update.

I managed to fix this by installing with ansible-galaxy (2.1.0) but
would be nice to fix the packaged version.

We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
ansible, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is
attached.

I had a look at the patch, and it does not cleanly apply against ansible 7.7.0
(which should soon be in bookworm-proposed-updates). In fact, it seems as though
bullseye isn't even supported [0].

Do you believe you could come up with a patch against
https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/ansible/-/tree/debian/bookworm?ref_type=heads
that would add support for bullseye and bookworm? I unfortunately don't have a
zabbix setup I could test against.
