Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
        Selecting text down.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Selecting text down does not advance towards the remaining text.
        It works only up.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Not able to select all text in one action as usual.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
Left click select and scroll down to select all remaining text.

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Disabling all gnome extensions and re tested the issue. Firefox and
LibreOffice Writer works fine, but the GNOME Text Editor still does not
auto‑scroll when selecting text downward and it also works very slowly when
scrolling upward.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Disabling all gnome extension does not resolved the issue.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Not able to auto‑scroll when selecting text downward.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Able to auto‑scroll when selecting text downward in Text Editor.

   * X Window System

        X11 + nvidia-driver

Scrolling upward seems to work ok for me, but I confirm that selecting
text and trying to drag downward does not work. Could you report that
issue upstream?

I am using GNOME with Wayland and don't have Nvidia graphics.

Thank you,
