Dear Maintainer,

libcuda1 stopped for several minutes during upgrade to 525.147.05-1 on
trixie. htop showed that the process "grep NVRM
/proc/driver/nvidia/version" was using 100% of cpu. I stopped this
process and the same thing repeated for xserver-xorg-video-nvidia and
nvidia-driver-libs (and their i386 counterparts). Only after each
stuck grep process was killed was apt able to finish the upgrade.

Testing it myself, I was unable to get any text from
/proc/driver/nvidia/version; cat, grep, wc etc all hung at the bash
prompt, until I rebooted to load the new module at which point it all
worked normally.

I don't know if it's related, but just for completeness: this system
has hybrid graphics, with the desktop rendered by an amdgpu device and
the nvidia device only used via PRIME.

I also found a stack trace in the journal that looks related. I have
attached it to this mail.

Please let me know if you need anything else, and thanks for your work!
