Dear Maintainer,

    * What led up to the situation?
I'm trying to merge photos from more than one source. File names are different
for each source, so photos taken at/near the same time show up separated far
apart.
    * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
      ineffective)?
I tried to use the Filter by date, but this still sorts by filename. I've
already separated the files by date into separate directories.
    * What was the outcome of this action?
Files with close exif create dates are not located near each other in the
display. Instead, they are far apart, and difficult to compare.
    * What outcome did you expect instead?
I need to sort by the exif Modification date or the file modification date.

(They're not necessarily the same!)
