Dear Maintainer,

the provided nagvis-package does not work out-of-the-box. It only
provides this Error-Message in the Browser:

Error: (0) Creation of dynamic property GlobalMainCfg::$PUCACHE is deprecated
URL: /nagvis/frontend/nagvis-js/index.php?mod=Map&act=view&show=demo-muc-srv1
File: /usr/share/nagvis/share/server/core/classes/GlobalMainCfg.php
Line: 1547
#0 /usr/share/nagvis/share/server/core/classes/GlobalMainCfg.php(1547): nagvisExceptionErrorHandler()
#1 /usr/share/nagvis/share/server/core/functions/core.php(36): GlobalMainCfg->init()
#2 /usr/share/nagvis/share/frontend/nagvis-js/index.php(41): require('...')
#3 {main}

Upstream provides an update for PHP8.2-Errors
(https://www.nagvis.org/downloads/changelog/1.9.36)

Is there any way possible to include this changes ?

That's already in testing & unstable, see:

https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/nagvis

I doubt the viability of cherry-picking the php8.2 changes.

Backporting nagvis for bookworm should be easier. Someone who actually
uses nagvis should do that. Perhaps you?

Kind Regards,

Bas

Control: severity -1 serious
Control: close -1 1:1.9.38-1

Based on the git log all fixes are in 1.9.38 [1]

I'm setting this to serious based on the reported severity,
not yet sure whether I will fix it.
