Since the recent update on testing, several things are broken.

1) The display shuts down ignoring activity rendering machine useless.
I have to inactivate the "Display power management" entirely.

2) "Suspend" is now completely broken, and requires a reboot! Echos of
Windoze : I am not quite sure if this is also the power manager.

Whereas before pressing the "sleep" key reliably just suspended this
machine which then resumed properly on another press,
now:

a) The "sleep" key displays a whole menu of icons. Clicking on the
"Suspend" icon does appear to suspend.

b) However, on pressing the "sleep" key again does at least reactivate
the display. However both the keyboard and mouse are inactive, so the
only option is to cycle power.

I wish I could offer some diagnostics.... but where is the documentation?

Hello,

the same here. After the last update the xfce4-power-manager the
display running ~5 minutes and the displays going black.

We have 15 control monitors here that are supposed to run 24/7. With
the error, the monitors are not usable, so I set the severity to
important.

Another problem is that the login credentials are required every time
the monitors go dark.

Although locking is switched off.

I therefore set the severity to Grave.

Hi Jorg,

I see this too in a test VM. Lock screen user unlock required even when lock
screen disabled after installing 'xfce4-screensaver'.

Hi everyone,

sorry but this bug doesn't really make sense to me considering it's been
opened against 4.18.3-2 and various people commented afterwards with things
which look a bit different.

Ael, could you elaborate on this and confirm the version you're experiencing
your issues?

Thanks for the information, and yes we'll need version information if you have
it so we can properly mark this as fixed.
