Dear Maintainer,
Since 2024-02-27 a new release of Steam was installed. Client version
1709168962.

This release uses the Sniper runtime which causes Steamwebhelper to crash.
After starting Steam I get a window that shows "Steamwebhelper is not
responding" and the possibility to restart with different options. None of
these work.

Digging deeper see some problems with libcef.so and a core dump.

At the moment I'm unable to start Steam.

Fixed this issue by fixing my personal configuration.

I had my '~/.config' directory symlinked to a different directoy on a
SSD. Moving the '.config' directory back the the HDD where $HOME resides
solved this issue.
