Bought an OrangePi CM4 and booted the Debian Bookwork image from the SBC manufacturer.
Upgraded to Debian testing.
Ran 'apt get install phosh-full'
Rebooted and tried to login to the Phosh DM.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Tried to login to the Phosh DM on the login page.

   * What was the outcome of this action?
Screen goes blank, saw a blinking cursor for about 5 - 10 sec, then the login screen loaded again.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
To login to the OrangePi desktop andh ave it look like a phone layout due to Phosh.

You seem to have lightdm still running but use phosh.service. Please
stop lightdm to make sure they don't race for the same tty.

To debug further could you create a .phoshdebug file in your users $HOME
with:

  G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=phoc-wlroots
  export G_MESSAGES_DEBUG

(if you didn't change phosh.service the relevant user is the one with
uid 1000). Then

  systemctl stop phosh
  systemctl start phosh

and get the logs from that one. To shorten the log you can use

  journalctl _COMM=phoc

as the other processes don't matter atm.

I am not sure... I downloaded the Debian image
(Orangepicm4_1.0.4_debian_bookworm_desktop_xfce_linux5.10.160.7z) from
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MJl-pIU2I7EHDN6rlirumVkBOz7utvyE
and flashed it to the OrangePi. Then updated to the testing branch using
these instructions:

Then I created a new file called .phoshdebug in /home/orangepi and
filled it with the contents specified.

Then ran:
systemctl stop phosh;systemctl start phosh;
this logged me out, so I logged in again normally, then looked in
journal:

a way to get ssh access to such a device?
