Dear Maintainer, Cyrus 3.6.4 and 3.8.2 have fixes for IMHO serius bugs in the search engine squat. https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/issues/4660 (squatter fails while indexing mails missing some headers - typically messages in Drafts and Trash) https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-imapd/issues/4692 (Not yet squattered emails are always returned on any search) Is it possible to get 3.6.4 in Debian stable (instead of 3.6.1)? Looking at the changelogs it looks that 3.6.x releases are only bugfixes, and could fit in debian's policy of only fixing bugs in stable. https://www.cyrusimap.org/dev/imap/download/release-notes/3.6/x/3.6.4.html If upgrading to 3.6.4 is not workable, how about cherrypicking of these two patches? I have a patch file just for them, tested in production, and it works well. Best regards, Vladislav Kurz
bookworm has fallen out of the Release Team's support, so to get the cherrypicked patches in, you would have to ask the LTS Team by now.
