Dear Maintainer,

  I have a new installation of Debian 12. Emacs has an strange
  behavior. Whenever I interact with the minibuffer (for instance to
  open when opening a file with C-f, search in the buffer with C-s,
  etc.) the height of the emacs window shrinks exactly 1 line. I have
  removed all my customization by removing .emacs and .emacs.d, but it
  does not solve anything.

Since simplescreenrecoding only works on X11, I have changed to X11 to
record a video of the problem and in X11 works fine. The problem is with
wayland.

On Wayland, consider 'apt-get install emacs-pgtk'.
