Dear Maintainer,

In a Gnome environment, when using the Spanish layout, the "ñ" letter and some
of the accents that usually works as dead-keys are not working, just being
ignored.

I tried with other applications like nautilus, Tilix terminal or Telegram and
it works correctly, so I discarded a system configuration issue.

If this can help, I found the exactly same behaviour in other Mozilla software,
Thunderbird, so maybe it's related to some dependency used by both, but I
cannot figure which one.

   * What led up to the situation?

Just a normal upgrade on my system.
