Dear Maintainer,

My computer has a 2880x1800 15" display. Looks great at 200% scale, but I
occasionally run it at exact 1/4 rez (1440x900 100% scale) for the odd
application.

Anyway. When I start from 2880x1800 @ 200% scale, go to Control Center's
Display settings, and choose the 1440x900 resolution, I get "Changes
Cannot be
applied \n This could be due to hardware limitations." The Apply button
is now
disabled. Since a "sufficiently low" resolution is now selected, the Scale
setting is now hidden.

I do not have fractional-scaling enabled. Don't even see the option.

I have to go back to selecting the higher resolution, so that the Scale
setting
will re-appear, so that I can choose "100%", *then* I can go back to
selecting
the lower resolution and apply it.
