   * What led up to the situation?

Scanned the first page of a document with skanlite and saved it as a pdf file.

When clicking "Scan" again for scanning the second page of the document,
skanlite displays "waiting for the scan to start" and hangs for about 30
seconds. Then, an error message "The device is busy" appears. When clicking
"Scan" again, the same problem happens again and again.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

After restarting skanlite, scanning 1 document works perfectly.
When scanning the first page of document, clicking "Discard" instead of saving
does not block scanning.

When the problem occurs, clicking "Preview" instead of "Scan" leads to the save
problem

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
When clicking Scan for a second document, Skanlite should scan the document
instead of hanging.
