Hello,

using Gnome and a dark style, some UI components are hardly readable (or
not at all).

Two examples: Some mails use white-on-white text in dark mode. See
screenshot thunderbird.png in the attachment. It contains four times the
same part of a mail. On the left side you see it in dark mode setting,
on the right in default (i.e. light) mode. Below the same mail with the
text selected (which is my work around to show the content).

This is really a thunderbird problem and not one of strange styles in
the mail, see screenshot browser.png which shows the same mail's html
part in Firefox.

The second example is error messages in dialogs. See attached screenshot
address-book-dialog.png. Again on the left side in dark mode and on the
right side in default mode.

To reproduce the latter, just click "Add CardDAV Address Book", enter a
broken URL in the Location input field, press "Continue" and wait for
the error message to appear.
