Hi, In https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2023/05/02/3 upstream pointed out that xsetmode and xsetpointer are obsolete and do not receive any fixes. xsetpointer supposedly is broken since xorg-server 1.4. Please drop them from the package. Chris
Control: severity -1 minor Is there a particular reason to make this bug important? Both are tiny utilities, basically making a single X request, so from my point of view while there's likely little to no usage there's also little cost to keeping them. Cheers, Julien
Right, there's probably no security importance whatsoever there. Chris
