  Programming Lang: Python
Description : Client for Generative Language API

Generative Language API: The Gemini API allows developers to build generative
AI applications using Gemini models. Gemini is our most capable model, built
from the ground up to be multimodal. It can generalize and seamlessly
understand, operate across, and combine different types of information
including language, images, audio, video, and code. You can use the Gemini
API for use cases like reasoning across text and images, content generation,
dialogue agents, summarization and classification systems, and more.

I intend to maintain this package within the Home Assistant team.

Hi,

I'm a little bit concerned if this is a pure API client library to
interact with Google's Gemini API, it might be suitable to live in the
contrib archive. Do not confuse it with other cloud API clients that
might be useful to local cloud instances, too.

Thanks,
Aron

Dear Aron Xu,

Thanks so much for you comments.
Yes, it is a problem, main or contrib.
I prefer contrib now.

Actually this is a dependency of python-google-generativeai, which has
not been packaged now.

I just come back home and continue my next academic conference
(actually I major computational physics), I do not pay enough attention
to this package, thanks for much for your suggestion.

I will contact Home Assistant package team to confirm this problem.

Best regards,
EiPi Fun/DONG XU
