cfengine3-3.24.0-1 causes a lot of errors like the one below:

This is due to a missing "reports:" promise in
/var/lib/cfengine3/inputs/cfe_internal/core/main.cf.
Upstream opted for removing the messages altogether as they are deemed
useless:

Hi Gian,

this might be a leftover from your old installation.

/var/lib/cfengine3/inputs/cfe_internal/core/main.cf is your old file
which you received from your master.

/usr/share/cfengine3/masterfiles/cfe_internal/core/main.cf is the
version delivered from the package update.

You have to update your masterfiles.
