Is this ITP still active? I saw the RFS was closed a while ago...
I do need Quill soon as a dependency of a different package I maintain,
and I wonder if we can expect it to be available in Debian soon.

I am still interested in bringing this package to Debian, I will be

I have added you to maintainer of https://salsa.debian.org/syed/quill

to help moving package to debian group.

There is a upstream ticket for packaging too:

The upstream developer is very friendly and I have also contributed  to
the upstream in order to make this

package part of Debian.

I hope this package makes to the upload queue soon.

Looks like you became DM meanwhile, that is great, congratulations!

Since you gave me access to the repository, do you want me to maintain
the package? Do you intend to place it in the shared debian/ namespace
on Salsa?  (you'd still be the maintainer, but other developers have
access to the repository then and can do QA uploads easier).
