The package will remain in the Debian namespace at the request of its
original maintainer; however, the maintainer will be changed to the
Debian Cryptocoin Team in the next upload. Is this enough to fix this bug?

Please confirm so I can add a changelog entry to close this bug.

I think this bug report should stay open.  In the long term, I would hope that
everyone would agree that moving this package to the Debian Cryptocoin Team
namespace on Salsa is the best choice.  But it is not appropriate to do so
until everyone involved in the package agrees with that decision.  As the
current maintainer is willing to allow us to participate in maintaining the
package while leaving the repository in the Debian namespace, that is a change
in the right direction for now.  But this bug should remain open to document
discussion towards a possible future change in the repository location.

Set of "Cryptocoin Team" developers is orders of magnitude smaller than
set of "Debian" team on Salsa.

Yours truly have been delayed for months due to lag in membership approval
of "Cryptocoin Team", while all Debian Developers already have access to
"Debian" project on Salsa.

There is no need to keep namespace suggestion bug open, and there are no
benefits from changing project namespace whatsoever.
