Dear Maintainer,

Thanks for your efforts in bringing KDE Plasma 6 to Debian!

After a recent upgrade, all breeze icons with adaptive color support
are displayed as if my accent color were black. It makes a lot of icons
(in particular, folder*) undistinguishable, and look awful when the
background is dark (e.g., in Dolphin when using a dark theme).

The cause of the issue seems to be:

1. libkf6iconthemes6 exposes ColorScheme-Accent [1]
2. kf6-breeze-icon-theme utilizes it heavily [2]
3. libkf5iconthemes5 does not expose it
4. breeze-icon-theme has become a transitional dummy package depending
on kf6-breeze-icon-theme

Backporting a tiny commit [1] from KF6 may fix the issue. Or ignore
this bug report if the migration to KDE Plasma 6 soon arrives. :)

thanks for the analysis, I didn’t want to dive into it myself but that’s appreciated !

This doesn’t seem to be enough. Please find a screenshot in a recently installed sid VM.
Dolphin’s icon in Plasma is still black, and the colors of folders in gwenview changed from black to white, I don’t see that as particularly improving the situation. :)
